We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Computer Assembler to support system builds and upgrades. This role involves assembling, upgrading, and verifying computer systems according to work orders. Training will be provided, making this a great opportunity for candidates with transferable hands-on experience.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM
Employment Type: Temporary (2 months)
Pay Rate: $20/hr
Key Responsibilities
- Follow work order instructions to understand specifications for each computer build or upgrade
- Assemble, install, and upgrade computer systems (laptops and/or desktops)
- Perform basic hardware component replacements and upgrades, including memory (RAM), storage drives, and related parts
- Verify correct component installation and confirm basic system functionality
- Conduct post-assembly checks and basic testing to ensure systems operate properly
- Safely handle, clean, and package completed units for shipment
- Follow all workplace safety procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area
Qualifications & Requirements
- Ability to follow clear instructions and standard procedures
- Comfortable performing repetitive, detail-oriented tasks
- Ability to read small print (as small as 8-point font) on labels
- Physically able to lift and move items up to 50 lbs
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Team-oriented with good communication skills
- Transferable experience from hands-on roles such as assembly, warehouse production, manufacturing, or repair
Preferred Qualifications
- Interest in or basic understanding of computer hardware and upgrades
- Familiarity with basic electronic components, systems, and hardware
- Experience repairing, disassembling, or assembling electronic devices
